How much does a roof restoration cost ?

Obviously this is a tricky one. Factors such as the size of the roof, the condition of the roof, the pitch of the roof and the access all influence price. Factors you may not even consider such as solar panels, skylights and a deck below or close neighbour can all have an influence. To give a ballpark though it is fair to say the average cement tiled roof of a 3 to 4 bedroom home will often land between $5000-$6000. Larger homes will be higher and of course the above-mentioned factors will have influence. Metal roof restorations are tricky and can fall either side of this range. They really are a case by case basis but again $4000-$6000 is a reasonable guide for many homes.

Will the water get inside

It is always possible for water to get into the ceiling space. Every attempt is made to limit and prevent it however there is always a possibility. It is imperative you advise of any existing or known roof leaks prior to starting

How long does it take?

Weather permitting, most restorations are done within the week. Some in as little as two or three days.

Yes we offer the manufacturers warranties on all products used and warrant their application and our workmanship for the equivalent period.

What is the process?

After a careful look over things, the roofs are appropriately cleaned. Usually with a petrol driven 5000PSI turbo head pressure washer.

Tile roofs are then treated to the required ridge re-pointing and broken tiles changes etc as per the quote. The metal roofs are assessed for the need to primer or change rusted screws or treat rust.

Once ready, the tile roofs are either sealed or primered and two coloured membrane coats are applied. The same goes for the metal roofs

What paints do you use?

We use two main brands, Dulux Acratex Roofing products or Evolving Elements. Both are fantastic products and have their strengths in various situations. There can sometimes be a price variance also.
